What United Petro Group is looking for in a sponsorship proposal
Additional points will be given if your proposal includes maximum marketing potential, cross promotions, media extensions, flexible and creative benefits package, and business development opportunities.
Group policy restrictions
As a matter of policy United Group Petro does not support:
- Political, religious, sectarian associations
- Gambling, alcohol, tobacco, pornography related activities
- Risky projects, hazard to community, public safety and environment
- Promote violence, discrimination or exploitation
- Individual or scholarship scheme

We hereby provide you with the information on our current practices applicable to the processing of your personal data (" Personal Data") collected by Petroliam Nasional Berhad (" United Petro Group “, " we", or " us") in connection with the United Petro Group Sponsorship.

DATA RETENTION
Unsuccessful Application
If your proposal is unsuccessful, we will keep your personal data only for a reasonable period based on our business needs and in accordance with our internal policies and procedures.
Successful Application
If your proposal is successful, we will process your personal data for purposes regarding sponsorship program with us in accordance with this Privacy Notice.
In any other case, we will retain your personal data for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes stated herein unless a longer retention period is permitted or required by any applicable law. We will take all reasonable steps to destroy, or erase from our systems, all data which is no longer required.
Should there be a new purpose for the collection of your personal data, we shall inform you accordingly and obtain your consent to the same, where necessary.
If you choose not to provide us with your personal data or if you provide insufficient data, invalid, incorrect or inaccurate data to us or decline to provide the data we require, we may not be able to process your proposal.
We only keep your personal data for as long as we require it in order to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected or provided to us (unless a legal obligation requires us to keep it for longer).
TRANSFERS OF YOUR INFORMATION
We limit access to personal data we collect about you to our employees and third-party, who we reasonably believe need to have access to your information to enable us to coordinate the program. Such third parties may include other members of the United Petro Group group of companies, sub-contractors, business partners, suppliers, or other third-party organizations providing administrative, IT or other services to PETRONAS or any member of the PETRONAS group of companies. We may also disclose Personal Data to governmental agencies and regulators to the extent required by applicable legal obligations.

At any time, you have the right to withdraw your consent to this processing at any time, by contacting us by using the contact details provided. Please note, however, that withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on your previous consent prior to withdrawal.

LANGUAGE
