    United Petro Group

  • Dr. Ganapathi Dhiwaghar (Dr. D) has made remarkable achievements in a short span, distinguishing himself as a visionary leader in international business. His entrepreneurial journey began at 19 as a research student, but his scientific pursuits started even earlier. At just 16, he invented a method for "ginning of cotton" directly in the fields. His innovative drive extended to wind energy, where he developed air-induction technologies for electricity generation.

At the age of 16, Dr. Dhiwaghar also launched his crude oil trading ventures, which later evolved into a full-scale petroleum products trading operation under the United Oil and Gas Group and United Petro Group. Under his leadership, United Petro Group has rapidly expanded, securing crude oil allocations, LNG and LPG deals, and refinery partnerships across multiple countries. His latest venture, United LNG, represents significant investments in the LNG sector.

Dr. Dhiwaghar holds a Bachelor's degree in Textiles, an MBA with a focus on Marketing and Advertising, and a Ph.D. in Business Management. At 19, he joined Ohio-based SLS Group as a Partner and Vice President, where he pioneered the concept of "Global Trading Partners," a billion-dollar initiative funded by the Federal Government and Bank One. Simultaneously, he played a key role in the international trade of hard commodities and crude oil.

By 27, Dr. Dhiwaghar had partnered with an investment bank from the Saladin Family in Geneva, specializing in high finance and project structuring. He gained expertise in securing government-to-government grants and funding for large-scale projects, establishing notable connections, including with the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia.

At 34, he began working with Geracon International Group, a Montreal-based infrastructure and project management firm, becoming an equity owner by 37. That same year, he signed major government-initiated infrastructure deals in Myanmar, demonstrating his vision and strategic leadership. Additionally, he is a key shareholder in Modubuild Limited, a UK-based research-driven organization.

Dr. Dhiwaghar's investments span a wide array of industries, including education, manufacturing, healthcare, banking, energy, IT, wireless technology, irrigation, and project management. His contributions and leadership have left a lasting global impact, making him a dynamic force in the business world.
